Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Corporate Social Responsibility is defined as the voluntary commitment of our business to include in our corporate practices economic, social, and environmental criteria and actions, which are above and beyond legislative requirements and related to a broader range of stakeholders: everyone is influenced by our activities.

At Petro Ariance (PA), we are dedicated to becoming an industry leader in corporate citizenship by creating a sustainable future for generations to come. Our environmental commitment is to reduce the global impact of our operations which enables both PA and our customers to function more resourcefully through improved health, education and environmental protection.

PA is committed to a working environment that minimizes the risk to the safety and health of all employees. We make every effort to address both the environmental and health impact of our operations by reducing waste and emissions, and sustain an incident and injury free work environment.

One of our main priorities is to give back to communities in which we live and work. In addition to supporting the development of natural sources, we provide direct social benefits to large number of people in need.

Sustainable Development

In PA we strive to contribute to meet 7 of 17 United Nation (UN) sustainable development goals. We play an active role in caring for the planet now and in the future by guarding the environment.

No. 7 AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY
No. 8 DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
No. 9 INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
No. 11 SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES
No. 13 CLIMATE ACTION
No. 14 LIFE BELOW WATER
No. 17 PARTNERSHIP FOR THE GOALS

Sustainability is part of PA’s strategy, decisions and activities to create marine solutions of value for our clients. Our smart engineers receive continuous encouragement as they develop more sustainable work methods and innovations. In everything we do, we strive to minimizes any harmful effects of our work and encourage the beneficial ones where possible. During design and construction of one of our contracts in CIS, for instance, we created a special breeding program for birds, to avoid distributing their nesting area.
